Global Health Mini-University, October 9

MEASURE Evaluation GIS Specialist, John Spencer, will present "From Where to Why" at USAID's Global Health Mini-University in Washington, DC.

The 9th annual Global Health Mini-University will be held on October 9, 2009 at the Cloyd Heck Marvin Center on the campus of George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services.

This year's event will offer over 60 different sessions highlighting evidence-based best practices and state-of-the-art information from a variety of technical areas across the Global Health field. Registration is now open.

Three MEASURE Evaluation sessions at Mini-University!

  1. John Spencer and Andre Inglis: The road from where to why: better data and better decision support tools using GIS and geographic data
  2. Karen Foreit: Addressing poverty-equity in health program design, implementation and evaluation
  3. Heidi Reynolds: Strengthening information systems for community based HIV programs
