IAS Conference on HIV Science

ias-2019.pngThe 10th International AIDS Society (IAS) Conference on HIV Science – known as IAS 2019 – will take place July 21-24, 2019 in Mexico City, Mexico. This biennial conference presents the critical advances in basic, clinical, and operational research that moves science into policy and practice.

MEASURE Evaluation experts will attend IAS 2019 to share project work through a satellite session, posters, and an exhibition booth. The following sessions and posters will be presented at the conference.

Satellite Session

Measuring what counts: Maximizing the use of health information to speed country progress towards 95-95-95 (Sunday, July 21, 12:30-14:30 at Casa Montejo 1)
At IAS 2019, MEASURE Evaluation is presenting examples of work with country partners to strengthen information systems to achieve more equitable provision of HIV services, especially for the most vulnerable populations. The project has worked in PEPFAR priority countries to ensure efficient collection and use of information to improve program performance and assist countries to progress towards 95-95-95 targets. This session offers innovative methods and advancements in coverage and quality of routine data to inform decisions on HIV service provision. Audience members will participate in an interactive activity to explore next steps in advancing information systems to meet the goals of 95-95-95.
