International Workshop on Impact Evaluation of Population, Health, and Nutrition Programs

The Global Evaluation and Monitoring Network for Health (GEMNet-Health) announces an international workshop on “Impact Evaluation of Population, Health and Nutrition Programs,” for English-speaking professionals.

GEMNet-Health LogoThe Global Evaluation and Monitoring Network for Health (GEMNet-Health) announces an international workshop on “Impact Evaluation of Population, Health and Nutrition Programs,” for English-speaking professionals. The workshop is sponsored by the School of Public Health at University of Ghana in collaboration with GEMNet-Health. The two-week course will be held from August 5–16, 2019 in Accra, Ghana. 

Taught in English, the course is designed for mid-level health and population researchers, administrators, program managers, and other professionals involved in the implementation and evaluation of population, health, and nutrition programs. The course provides intensive, hands-on training in impact evaluation with an emphasis on statistical methods for professionals currently involved in related activities.

The workshop tuition fee (which includes workshop materials, airport transfers, and lunch on days when workshop is in session) is USD $1,880. The tuition fee does not include accommodation. Accommodation options with cost ranging from $1,195 to $2,634 are available. The workshop venue will be at the University of Ghana Legon campus. The International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) will fund five bursaries for qualified African candidates.

Applications must be submitted to the University of Ghana by June 30, 2019.
