Discussion on Geography and Analysis of Routine Health Information

The Routine Health Information NetwOrk (RHINO) will host an online forum to discuss effective use of GIS with RHIS data. The discussion will focus on issues such as geo-spatial analysis techniques suitable for RHIS data, how to link RHIS data with other contextual data using a GIS and GIS resources for software and data.

RHIS and GIS: How geography can strengthen use and analysis of routine health information

Routine health information systems and geographic information systems (GIS) can work in harmony to better inform M&E and decision making. The Routine Health Information NetwOrk (RHINO) will host an online forum to discuss effective use of GIS with RHIS data. The discussion will focus on issues such as geo-spatial analysis techniques suitable for RHIS data, how to link RHIS data with other contextual data using a GIS and GIS resources for software and data. No previous experience with GIS is necessary to participate in the forum.

The forum will be hosted by John Spencer, Senior Geospatial Analyst for MEASURE Evaluation and Andrew Inglis GIS Advisor for MEASURE Evaluation and USAID Deliver project.
