The PRISM RHIS Overview Tool is mainly for use at the national level, but can be used at subnational levels. This tool examines technical determinants, such as the structure and design of existing information systems in the health sector, information flows, and the interaction between different information systems. It looks at the extent of RHIS fragmentation and redundancy, and helps to initiate discussions on data integration and use.
